SarahJane ShawOne time published SarahJane Shaw is misplaced in time, using books and pens as a means to relive the days of manners, Society and afternoon teas. With an affinity for corsets and arsenic, her work colors pages with a regency flair. After all, is there anything more charming than those of high society behaving badly?

David SylvesterDavid Sylvester is a writer of short stories that explore the feelings of isolation, alienation and loneliness that ordinary people sometimes feel when confronted with the events that form their lives. His stories highlight the sense of "dysfunctional narrative" people experience when, for reasons they don't understand, things don't work out the way they had hoped or, worse, planned.

His story "Cat People" received honorable mention in the Hudson Valley Writers Guild 2011 Short Story competition.

Richard HartshornRichard Hartshorn has lived in New York State his entire life. His work has been described by Robert Vivian (author of the award-winning Cold Snap As Yearning) as "literary in the best and most ambitious sense, mixing bathos and pathos in both absurd and everyday circumstances as his characters seek to somehow, some way burst the social or economic constraints that bind them..." and as "having a humor and edge that are compelling and sometimes even spellbinding for entire pages at a time."

His story "Sorry, Dani" was the recipient of the 2011 Richard Bausch Short Story Prize, and his work has appeared in several publications including Our Stories and Hawaii Women's Journal. Richard holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and teaches at Hudson Valley Community College.
